nice and quiet. Positive: I had the muesli, but the breakfast menu was excellent. Negative: Some of the curtain rails were not centred on the centre of the window. It allowed for a lot of stray light at night. That's my OCD problem.

Lovely with few suggestions Positive: Beautiful place, peaceful and lovely large room. Friendly staff and lovely breakfast. Negative: Room off dining area was too bright all night with it's frosted glass door. I see this has been mentioned before in a previous review. Luckily I had an eye-mask from airplane or would really have struggled. A simple blind on the door will make a huge difference. Booking process was complicated as there seems to be two websites running... An older one on booking.com and a different one if you look up The Palms directly. These describe the room options differently.. one has two single bed options and newer one does not. Not a complaint... But a bench or hook would be welcome in the bathroom as nowhere to put clothes when showering.

Above my expectations. Positive: Wonderful friendly helpful staff. Delicious breakfast. Room, bathroom and facility was spotlessly clean. Very comfortable bed. Quiet and peaceful suburb. Rooms on ground floor for elderly or those who can't climb stairs. An absolutely amazing stay. Will do it again. Highly recommended. Negative: Nothing to complain about.

Pleasant for a quick overnight stay. Positive: Nicely decorated rooms, included breakfast Negative: Stayed in room 9, was a lovely room once inside but felt a bit awkward entering directly off the dining room. And coming out of the room and walking directly onto everyone eating breakfast. Also the light from the dining room shone through the door making the room very bright during the night. TV faced the corner wall with no arm extension and no chair positioned to watch the TV which felt a bit random.
